Professor Wei Lu is a sports-medicine and arthroscopy specialist known for the management of complex shoulder and major-joint injuries. His expertise includes massive or irreparable rotator-cuff tears, recurrent shoulder instability, cartilage injury, complex shoulder disorders and reverse shoulder arthroplasty. Advanced training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center under Professor Freddie Fu, followed by further international study, strengthened his approach to minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery. He has helped develop modern sports-medicine programs and arthroscopy training in South China, with an emphasis on joint preservation, functional recovery and individualized surgical planning.
